94 Rock Snow Report: More Terrain Slowly Opening As Snowmaking Continues

Most of the west is lacking in snowpack, but we have it the worst here in NM and Southern Colorado. That looks to be changing after Christmas Day . In the meantime, resorts continue to make snow and slowly open more terrain. Check out the latest conditions below.

Sandia Peak:

New: 0

Notes: Ready to start snowmaking as soon as cooler temps arrive and will open when conditions allow.

What’s New: They are working to restore Chair 2 to its original state! Once completed, Chair 2 will provide quick and easy access to the top of the mountain. They have also made key improvements to the snowmaking system to ensure more consistent conditions.

What’s new: In the beginner area, the Beginner Double Chairlift has been replaced with the former Super Chief Quad, which provides smoother access to beginner terrain and more uphill capacity (and more room on the chairs!).
