BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Boston pub snagged a pretty impressive act to wrap up their St. Patrick’s Day slate of performers.
Popstar Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance at The Dubliner Irish Pub Monday night and treated customers to a series of his hits, including the on-brand “Galway Girl.”
Earlier that night Sheeran posted a picture of himself wearing a Celtics jersey on Instagram, writing “Meet me in the pub tonight” with the location tag Boston.
The pub was packed, and fans were even trying to sneak a peak of Sheeran from outside the bar.
Before the English singer left, he treated everyone in the pub to a round of drinks.
Sheeran currently does not have any performances coming up in the U.S., as he’s touring across Asia and Europe.
