BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Fenway Park workers, who briefly went on strike in July, have struck a deal with Aramark, the Red Sox’s food and beverage provider. The union that represents the stadium’s concession workers say the agreement includes increased wages for workers as well as staffing guidelines around technology.
“We have reached a settlement that provides the largest wage increase in the history of Fenway Park,” Union President Carlos Aramayo said.
Workers have been without a contract with Aramark since the end of 2024.
“People who have longevity and are working and are dedicating their career and their lives to this park, are going to be respected having done that,” Aramayo said.

The new contract, ratified Dec. 27, includes a $10 wage increase over five years for non-tipped workers, and $5 for tipped workers, according to the union. Gratuity for catering orders will also increase 2%, and vending commissions will increase 1%.
In addition to wage increases, staffing guidelines will require one worker for every two machines to sell alcohol.
“We’ve been able to reach am agree that will guarantee that folks who sell beer at Fenway Park will have good jobs moving forward,” Aramayo said.
The Red Sox home opener is scheduled for Friday, April 3.
