BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall on hundreds of coffee pods due to a mislabeling error last week.

252 boxes of “Gimme! Decaf de Agua Coffee Pods” were mistakenly labeled as caffeine free on the package when the products actually contain caffeine.

The affected coffee pods are the “Deep Disco” pod with a best by date of “Sept. 30, 2025” and the Decaf pods with the best by date of “Oct. 15, 2025.”

The FDA assigned the recall of these products at a level 2 risk, which means the drink may cause temporary, reversible health consequences.

The coffee was distributed in nine states, including Massachusetts. The other states under this recall are Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Customers who purchased the product are urged to contact the company for a return or refund.
