The risk of infection from West Nile Virus is now high according to the state Department of Health.
The latest test results were positive for mosquitoes trapped in East Providence, North Providence and Providence.
So far, there have been no reported human cases, however, the public is again advised to take precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
As of now, there has been no evidence in Rhode Island of Eastern Equine Encephalitis, or any other virus carried by mosquitoes.
