Fire investigators in Richmond believe a portable generator may be to blame for sparking a house fire on Sunday.
When firefighters arrived at the home in the Shamrock Hill area, they found the fire extending up to the side of the building.
Crews used water from a pool to extinguish the flames.
Fire officials say it appears that a portable generator running outside of the home ignited dry grass and debris.
No one was injured.
