Socialism on the Ballot; Is Mamdani The New Normal For Democrats?

It looks like Zohran’s victory in New York’s mayoral race last year was just the beginning for radical left Democrats. Multiple so-called “Democratic Socialists” have secured key victories in mayoral races across the United States since.

Notably, in Los Angeles, Nithya Raman managed to beat out Republican Spencer Pratt after days of mail-in ballots were counted. She’ll now advance to a runoff against incumbent Karen Bass. In Washington, D.C., Janeese Lewis George won her primary race as well. She’s now primed to succeed Mayor Muriel Bowser.

Zack Kraft with the Republican National Committee says this just goes to show that the Democrat Party is fully embracing its far-left radicals. “There are no more moderate Democrats,” he said. “They’re a party of extreme radicals. They want to tear down this country and rebuild it to fit their extreme agenda.”

He went on to say that while they might be able to win elections in deep blue cities like Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles, if the party doesn’t put a stop to this, it’s going to hurt them in upper-ballot elections.

Kraft explained: “Democrats are gonna be in for a rude awakening in November when their radical candidates fall short, because their agenda is out of step with working people and way too extreme.”

He predicted 2024-style defeats for the Democrats both nationally and in any state that isn’t deep blue.
