A new survey by Resume Genius reveals that younger job seekers are more likely to lie than older job seekers during interviews. Other findings:
- 36% of people admit to lying during a job interview.
- 43% of Gen Z’ers admit to lying, compared with 39% of Millennials, 31% of Gen X’ers, and 18% of Baby Boomers.
- 37% of people admit to stretching the truth about their AI expertise.
- More than 20% of people have used AI in real-time during a live interview to help generate responses.
- 36% of job seekers have added a skill they plan to learn later
