Botched IVF Case Goes To Court

(Orlando, FL) --A white Brevard County couple is suing an-vitro fertilization company after they wound up with a child of a different race. Lawyers for Tiffany Score and Steven Mills had a virtual court hearing with an Orlando judge yesterday as part of the lawsuit against IVF Life, Inc. The couple claims the company may have swapped their embryos with someone else's, or implanted the wrong embryo into Score before she gave birth to a child that's not a biological match. The couple's lawyer says Score and Mills want to contact the child's biological parents and see if someone else is raising their biological child. The lawyer told the judge time is of the essence as the bonds between a child and their parents grows stronger every day. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the judge ordered both sides to provide her with weekly status updates as the clinic tries to conduct genetic testing on some of its clients.
