Here's what's trending for January 27.

Officials are warning residents to take precautions if you're going outside in the frigid conditions this morning. A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect until ten a.m. tomorrow with temperatures possibly dipping below zero tonight. The freezing weather could cause hypothermia or frostbite if you aren't properly dressed. Penn-DOT is also warning drivers to watch out for black ice, as any precipitation on the road could have refrozen overnight.

Gov. Josh Shapiro says two groups of people deserve credit for the relatively quick cleanup of Pennsylvania's major roadways after Sunday's big snowstorm. The first group is the PennDOT drivers who worked 12 hour shifts to make the roads as passable as possible. The governor says the second group is you. "The good news is, the public worked with us. They stayed off the road to give PennDOT the opportunity to get out and clear the roads. So, we just really want to thank the public," the governor says. Shapiro said PennDOT workers are in many ways unsung heroes in our communities.

Governor Mikie Sherrill is declaring New Jersey's state of emergency over. Sherrill lifted her emergency order yesterday, thanking New Jerseyans for staying off the roads during Sunday's monster winter storm so snow plows and salt spreaders could do their jobs. She's continuing to urge drivers to avoid unnecessary travel and to be vigilant about ice, saying: "Just because you see blacktop doesn't mean that you don't need to exercise caution." De-icing remains a major challenge with a week of frigid temps ahead but the Governor says the state has plenty of salt to go around including 250,000 metric tons on hand now. Sherill also said utility companies have restored power to every New Jersey customer that lost power during the storm and says PJM, the regional grid operator, has been preparing to meet "the historic demand for electricity" this week.

Almost before the last snowflake fell in Sunday's big storm, came rumblings that an even bigger snow event could be coming our way this weekend. Accu-Weather's Joe Lundberg says, right now, it looks like we'll be spared another hit. "It's a close call, but right now, based on what I'm seeing currently on the computer forecast we'd get little or nothing," Lundberg says. However, if the storm's track shifts a bit to the west, the Lehigh Valley could be getting more snow.

One teen allegedly shot another teen early Monday morning in Easton. Police there say a 15-year-old boy was shot by a 14-year-old around 1:45 Monday morning in a home in the 1200 block of Butler Street, however the wounded boy was found in a home in the '1100' block of Butler. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. The home in which the teen was shot was searched and two handguns were discovered. The 14-year-old was taken into custody and police say the shooting was not random and that the teens know one another.

A home on Adams Island in Allentown is a complete loss after a Monday evening fire. The fire that started around 6;30 destroyed one home and badly damaged a second one. Firefighters say the snow made it tough for crews to access the fire and Adams Island has just one fire hydrant and it was not close to the burning homes.

Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick is calling for a full investigation into the second deadly shooting of a U.S. citizen by federal agents in Minneapolis. In a statement on social media, McCormick said "we need all the facts" after Alex Pretti was shot and killed by an immigration officer last weekend. The Republican added that he supports the Border Patrol and ICE, and claimed Minnesota politicians are "fueling a dangerous situation" with "irresponsible rhetoric and a lack of cooperation." McCormick said ICE arrests must continue "in a way that protects the public while maintaining its trust."

Senate Democrats promise not to vote on a spending bill that funds the Department of Homeland Security after border patrol agents shot Alex Pretti to death last weekend. Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman says he can't allow himself to be responsible for a government shutdown. "Our entire military won't get paid again. I cannot ever support that. I hope we can engage in a debate and make some kinds of reforms on ICE," the Democrat says. Fetterman says he agrees with President Trump that the U.S. needs to limit migration to prevent criminals from coming through, but he does share Democrats' view on citizenship reforms.

A federal appeals court is declining to reconsider a decision upholding the disqualification of Alina Habba as the top federal prosecutor in New Jersey. According to an order issued Monday, the judges who ruled that Habba was unlawfully appointed to the position did not ask to rehear the case and most of the judges also voted against putting the matter in front of the full court. The decision will keep a ruling intact that determined Habba's tenure became unlawful when she remained in the role after her 120-day interim term expired. This ruling may also allow for a Supreme Court battle over Trump's efforts to keep his preferred prosecutors in U.S. attorney offices across the country.

The Phillies have lost an outfielder. The San Francisco Giants have signed free agent center fielder Harrison Bader to a two-year, $20.5 million contract. The 31-year-old spent last season split between the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies, where he batted .277 with 17 homers and 54 RBIs through 146 games.

Officials with the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to formally introduce Mike McCarthy as the team's new head coach today. McCarthy is a Pittsburgh native who led the Green Bay Packers for more than a decade. He most recently worked as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
