A major snow storm that's impacted states nationwide is now affecting Rhode Island.
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through this evening and final precipitation totals may reach 12 to 18 inches in some locations.
Difficult travel conditions are likely for the morning commute and several schools and businesses will be shut down for today due to safety concerns.
Providence has seen nearly 16 inches of snow so far...and could get an inch or two more.
TF Green Airport was closed for several hours but is open now- however you should call your airline to see if your flight still exists.
Parking bans remain in effect for most of the state.
