Omaha and Lincoln Police team up in the arrests of two men suspected of committing ATM robberies nationwide.
OPD Uniform Patrol Bureau officers last Wednesday responded to a call at a Wells Fargo ATM at 24th and L Streets.
An ATM technician told them he was conducting maintenance on an ATM when two males shoved him out of the way and took an unknown amount of cash from the machine.
They left in a dark vehicle.
Officers determined the suspects were in a blue Jeep Renegade at the time of the robbery, but abandoned the Jeep and got into a black sedan near 25th and B Streets.
During the OPD investigation, Lincoln Police stopped the sedan on I-80 and found evidence of the robbery in the car.
Three men from the car were booked into the Lancaster County Department of Corrections.
On Monday of this week, police say two 22-year-old suspects from Texas were booked into Douglas County Corrections.
Jacob Wallace Jr. and Kendris Boston Jr. were booked on suspicion of two counts of robbery.
