As demonstrations and tensions continue to rise in Iran, many are wondering what is going to happen in next. Or as one political writer put it, is it 'go time' in Iran?
"We can be cautiously optimistic that this one will do it" said Streiff, writer and editor at Red State, as many experts believe they are on the brink of a regime change in Iran.
"We know that the current regime is an international bad actor" Streiff told KTRH, "I think that we really need to, basically roll the dice on this, and if we can get rid of them and have something else take over, I think we should."
In response to the mass protests, the Iranian regime cut-off nationwide internet access, which resulted in 44 deaths.
President Trump has warned repeatedly that if the regime starts killing people, "they will be hit very hard". Streiff agrees.
"I think we have to take his statement about supporting the street protestors with military force of some type, I think we have to take that very seriously" noted Streiff.
In response, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Trump should “focus on the problems of his own country.”
