Carly Pearce shared a powerful message with a sneak peek of an unreleased ballad on Wednesday (January 7).

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter said she believes “the world could use a little more love and acceptance, and a whole lot less judgement.” Pearce went on to play an unreleased song in the video she shared on TikTok, Instagram and other social media outlets, captioning the clip, “hey church girl.” Commenters were quick to say “we need it,” “I am little emotional listening to this,” “this one just hits different,” “your vocals are unmatched,” “obsessed,” “this hit me like a semi,” and more.

Pearce, who previously hinted at new music in 2026, has not announced additional details — including a possible release date — as of publication time on Thursday (January 8).

Pearce’s newest sneak peek arrives days after she shared a teaser that focused on a shimmering cross necklace in her hand. She captioned it, “I’m just a sinner who’s been where you’re at.” Any new music from Pearce will follow “Dream Come True,” a raw, vulnerable single that the country star described as a song “about the sacrifices we make when chasing our dreams. If you’ve ever felt that push and pull, know that you’re not alone. Writing this song has allowed me to return to my original dream, to reconnect with my roots and why I first fell in love with singing Country music.”

Pearce’s latest studio album is hummingbird, which arrived in June 2024, and expanded into a 19-track deluxe edition, hummingbird: no rain, no flowers, in March 2025. Pearce has seemingly hinted that “CP5,” her fifth studio album, is on the way; however, she has not announced any new updates at this time. One TikToker commented, “I fear the way this album is going to wreck me.” See Pearce’s sneak peek here:
