All In for Our Community: A Day of Service

Citizens are invited to roll up their sleeves and take part in a coordinated volunteer effort, bringing volunteers together across five City Council districts to support beautification and improvement projects at parks and playgrounds, and recreation centers. Following the Day of Service, residents are invited to gather at Lafayette Square for the All In for Our Culture Festival, a free, public celebration honoring exactly what makes us strong, New Orleans’ people, music, food, culture, and community. The festival features Big Sam's Funky Nation, The Roots of Music, Rockin' Doopsie and Zydeco Twisters, Cha Wa, DJ Jess, and is hosted by iHeart Media's own Uptown Angela.

The Inauguration Ceremony marks the swearing-in of Mayor-elect Helena Moreno and the newly elected leaders of the New Orleans City Council. The program will include musical selections and ceremonial moments that honor the occasion and celebrate the spirit of the city.
