Dave’s Christmas Vacation in Ten Pictures!

And we’re back!

I hope you had a great Christmas and had time to relax and spend time with the people you love. I also hope you got loaded and did s**t you regret and/or don’t remember.

Let’s dive into those pictures from vacation, shall we?

Christmas Eve, we went downtown to the Dayton’s market. Super cool and found a lot of very interesting things. Shame, downtown used to be full of beautiful stores and shops and it was lots of vacant store fronts and the streets were pretty empty.

We went over to Hell’s Kitchen for lunch. Yes, I had water because I was trying to be healthy.

I’m decluttering and throwing away things that I’ve hung onto for years. Like this wooden car I made in 8th grade. It’s not particularly cool or well-made but it’s a piece of 13 year old me and I hated to part with it, but ya just can’t keep things like this forever.

Speaking of throwing things away, Carson found this hat that he got at an amusement park in Denver when he was about 7 or 8. Yep, it’s gone too.

One night when it was super-cold out, just for the challenge, I put Berne’s boots and coat on and took him out for a freezing walk.

The day after Christmas, we went to Fat Pants Brewing to watch the Gopher game.

I think Bernie likes Carson more than he likes me.

Before Carson flew back to LA, we wanted to go somewhere special for dinner so we went to Hot Pot City in Eden Prairie, Basically you boil your own food in a variety of soups. So fun and so good!

We went to a wedding on New Years Eve and the family wanted to include their dog so someone walked him around all night and people loved it!

Back at home on New Years Eve. At midnight I was in my PJs watching TV. Happy New Year!

And that’s it! Thanks for looking at my pictures!

2026 won’t be like any other year for me. Keep listening to find out more.

-Dave
