Just before the holidays, a 71-one-year-old man from Ohio learned he had a son after a DNA match connected him with a 33-year-old man who’d spent years searching for his biological family.
Calvin Cooper learned he has a son after entering his DNA results into a genealogy database and matching with Tim Holloway.
Since discovering they are father and son, the two have spoken every day and are now planning to meet in person so the younger man can get to know his extended family. Both say the reunion has already brought a sense of belonging they’d been missing.
