"The Bump" is back on Highway 26 in the Coast Range. The Oregon Department of Transportation says the recent heavy rain caused the slide that creates the bump to move. There are now four locations where the road surface has shifted. This is located about 20 miles east of Seaside. The speed limit through the area has been reduced from 20 miles an hour to five miles an hour. Crews are making temporary repairs. They plan to add drainage this summer to help slow movement of the ancient slide.
