San Antonio’s First News reported this morning that authorities had found a body during the search for 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos, who had been reported missing.
After Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said on Facebook that he strongly believed the body to be that of Olmos, the medical examiner has officially confirmed Salazar’s suspicions.
According to the medical examiner, the body did belong to Olmos, and the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. The death has been ruled a suicide.
