Taylor Swift spread some extra holiday cheer on Christmas Day by surprising a Kansas City Chiefs stadium employee with a generous $600 tip.

Swift, who is engaged to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was attending the Christmas Day game at Arrowhead Stadium when she stopped to thank employee Robyn Gentry for working the holiday. Gentry said Swift placed six $100 bills in her hand while wishing her a Merry Christmas.

Gentry later shared the story and photos in a Taylor Swift fan Facebook group, saying she was initially stunned by the interaction. She recalled Swift and Kelce smiling, thanking her repeatedly for working on Christmas, and then moving on before she even realized how much money she had been given.

"She was running around telling everyone merry Christmas and came towards me, saying thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this, Merry Christmas. My mind just froze. Of course I said Merry Christmas and thank you so much." Gentry said.

The moment quickly became emotional for Gentry, who said the tip matched nearly two weeks’ worth of pay and came just after she had spent a similar amount on Christmas gifts for eight children. She said she plans to frame one of the bills as a keepsake and has not yet spent the rest.

In her post, Gentry described Swift and Kelce as genuinely kind, saying she wanted to share the experience with others who would appreciate it.

Swift has long been recognized for her generosity. Earlier this year, her Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era revealed that she awarded massive bonuses to everyone involved in The Eras Tour, from dancers to truck drivers, totaling nearly $200 million.

The Christmas Day matchup ended in a loss for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Denver Broncos. Following the game, Kelce declined to address retirement speculation, saying the decision would come later after discussions with family and the organization.
