Providence Place Mall will be losing another clothing retailer in the new year.
Banana Republic is closing its mall location on January 22nd, but the Garden City location in Cranston will remain open.
The mall lost the Talbot's and Gap clothing stores in 2023. Banana Republic was one of the original stores at the mall when it opened in 1999.
