During this holiday season, a five-year-old boy in Virginia turned kindness into action for animals in need. Noah Beasley helped raise more than $2-thousand for a local animal shelter, continuing a family tradition that began the year before. He says he wanted the animals to feel safe and have a Merry Christmas.
His mother, Kirsten Beasley, wanted her son to choose who to help, and he picked the Patrick County Animal Shelter for the second year. She shares that Noah loves animals, helps care for their pets at home, and dreams of becoming an animal doctor one day.
By the end of their fundraiser, the family had raised about $22-hundred. The money will go toward food, toys, and supplies for cats and dogs at the shelter. Staff there say gifts like Noah’s make a meaningful difference in a small community with limited resources.
