1 President Trump Issues Warnings To Iran And Hamas After Netanyahu Meeting

President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida yesterday to discuss the Gaza ceasefire deal, Iran's nuclear and missile programs, and Syria's new government. After the meeting, Trump said Iran "may be behaving badly" and suggested the country was trying to rebuild nuclear sites after the U.S. struck three of them earlier this year. He warned that if confirmed, there would be "powerful" consequences, possibly stronger than before. Trump also warned that Hamas would have "hell to pay" if it doesn't disarm as part of the U.S.-brokered peace plan. Netanyahu heaped praise on Trump, calling him the best friend Israel has ever had in the White House.

2 Homeland Security Investigating Minneapolis Sites For "Rampant Fraud"

Homeland Security agents launched a major fraud investigation in Minneapolis yesterday, inspecting more than 30 sites across the city. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said agents were looking into "childcare and other rampant fraud. The investigation is being led by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations branch, which usually handles crimes with an international or immigration connection, such as drug smuggling, identity theft, and fraud. The move comes one day after FBI Director Kash Patel said previous fraud arrests in Minnesota were "just the tip of a very large iceberg" and that the agency had sent extra staff and resources to investigate. More than 90 people have been accused or convicted of stealing hundreds of millions of dollars from the state.

3 President Trump Says US "Hit" Venezuela Dock, Which Would Be The First Land Attack

President Donald Trump said in an interview with WABC in New York that the U.S. military struck a "big facility" in Venezuela that was used to launch boats carrying drugs. If confirmed, it would be the first known land strike in the administration's efforts against drug trafficking from the country. Trump said the attack happened two nights before the December 27th interview. When asked about it yesterday, he said there was "a major explosion in the dock area" and that the site "is no longer around." The White House has not confirmed the strike.
