A second RPD officer has been released from the hospital, after the deadly shootout in the 19th Ward a week ago.
Meantime, the 3rd officer, who was critically wounded, continues to improve.
Police say the officers and a civilian were wounded by 38-year-old Eric Davis during a domestic violence call that began at a home on Chili Avenue.
Davis was later shot and killed by officers.
The civilian remains in the hospital with serious injuries.
The state's Attorney General is investigating, as is mandatory whenever a police officer causes a death.
