Today, James William Buffett (aka Jimmy Buffett) the American musician, songwriter, author, actor, businessman, and best known for his music, together with his Coral Reefer Band, would have turned 79. Sadly, we lost the son of a son of a sailor on September 1, 2023, after a battle with cancer. Aside from his music career, Buffett was also a best-selling writer and is involved in two restaurant chains named after two of his best-known songs, "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and "Margaritaville".
