Buckle up. The world's most delayed airlines of 2025 have been revealed.
Flight tracking app Flighty has gathered data for 22 million flights (which accounts for 78 million hours of air travel) and provided some surprising air travel statistics.
Per Travel & Leisure, for the study, flights were considered delayed if they arrived 15 minutes or more after their scheduled ETA.
For U.S.-based carriers, Flighty put Frontier Airlines at number one with 28 percent of flights arriving more than 15 minutes late. JetBlue and Southwest were tied in the number two spot. Both saw delays on 25 percent of their flights. While American Airlines and Alaska Airlines tied for third with 24 and 23 percent of flights arriving late respectively.
