Authorities are investigating a crash involving a Wyomissing police vehicle that occurred early Sunday morning (December 21) at the intersection of South Fifth Avenue and Chestnut Street in West Reading, Pennsylvania. The incident involved two vehicles, one of which overturned, and emergency crews responded to reports of two people trapped inside. The extent of injuries remains unknown at this time.
A video shared in the comments section of the Berks Weekly Facebook page reportedly shows the police vehicle traveling through the intersection with a green traffic signal when the crash happened.
Berks County officials have not released further details about the cause of the crash or the condition of those involved. The investigation is ongoing, and more information is expected as authorities continue to review the incident.
