Someone who has an outgoing personality may make an excellent salesperson, but if you’re afraid to pipe up in meetings and despise public speaking, that’s not the job for you. If you love getting things done at work, just not the social stresses that come with a lot of positions, Resume Genius knows a few jobs that would be perfect for you. The jobseeker website has just come out with a list of the top 10 High-Paying Jobs for Introverts.

  • They focused on roles that match introverted traits and come with autonomy (independence), social interaction, a good salary and job opportunities.
  • According to Eva Chan, a career expert with Resume Genius, the best jobs for introverts tend to have high stakes and big responsibilities, but fairly low demands on social skills and performance in meetings.
  • The jobs listed below offer competitive pay - a minimum median annual salary of $75,000 - and prove that “high pay doesn’t require having a big personality,” Chan says.
  • Remote work is very introvert-friendly and many of these jobs can be done remotely, with the occasional meeting required.
