Cedar Rapids Library To Name Park, Business Center After Benefactor

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Cedar Rapids Library will name a park and a conference center at the new westside branch after a prominent local business family.

Allsop Park, and the Allsop Conference and Learning Center will recognize a sizeable donation to the project from the Robert & Elizabeth Allsop Charitable Trust.

The 40-thousand square-foot westside Branch will double the size of the current Ladd Library, and include a 150-seat auditorium as well as the new park. It's set to open next fall.
