Britney Spears is pushing back against the IRS, which says she owes more than $600,000 in unpaid taxes for the 2021 tax year!

TMZ reports that according to legal documents, the IRS issued a Notice of Deficiency claiming she underpaid... but Britney’s legal team says the agency made multiple errors in its calculations.

TMZ notes that Britney's team says the one key issue she disputes involves how the IRS adjusted her share of income from a company called Shiloh Standing Inc., which she says was calculated incorrectly by over $1.3 million.

They note she also argues the IRS wrongly changed her deductions and tacked on a penalty she insists shouldn’t apply, asserting she has records to prove her original return was accurate.

In her filing TMZ reports that Britney says she “doesn’t owe so much as a dime” based on the agency’s claims and is asking a tax court to rule in her favor.
