Police Chase in Lancaster County Ends in Fiery Crash

A police chase in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, ended in a fiery crash on Saturday morning (December 20), leaving several people injured. The pursuit concluded at the intersection of Route 322 and Wood Corner Road in Clay Township around 7:30 a.m. According to PennLive, multiple vehicles caught fire, prompting a swift response from fire crews and police already on the scene.

Lancaster County-Wide Communications dispatchers reported that roads near the crash site were closed as emergency teams worked to manage the situation. The roads remained shut until approximately 12:30 p.m. While injuries were confirmed, the exact number and severity have not been disclosed. Pennsylvania State Police troopers were involved in responding to the incident, but they have not yet provided additional details about the chase or the crash.
