This year, Brad Paisley released a hilarious new Christmas song, "That Crazy Elf (On The Shelf)" in which he sings about all of the holiday mischief that the beloved Elf on the Shelf gets himself into. Now, Paisley continues to be on the receiving end of the Elf's pranks, but this time with a very spicy trick!
In a video shared to social media, the "That Crazy Elf" is waiting at the table for Paisley to enjoy a nice lunch with him, and he notices there are two options: a mild "Southern" fried chicken, and a Nashville Hot "Shut the Cluck Up" chicken. The elf switches the flags labeling each dish before Brad appears, and when the country star goes to take a bite of what he believes to be the Southern Fried Chicken, he realizes he actually has the Nashville Hot option, and begins fanning his burning mouth. But, it gets better — the elf offers him some relief with a carton of milk, but then throws it away just out of arms reach.
Paisley captioned the funny clip, "Was not expecting that heat! That crazy elf got me good!"
The video is, of course, set to "That Crazy Elf (On The Shelf)," which includes lyrics like "Someone ate all the Christmas cookies that my wife baked for the party/ She got so mad at me and said, 'Can't you control yourself?'/ I said, 'It wasn't me,' and she said, 'Who else could it be?'/ And I said, "'I bet it was that crazy elf.'" The song also includes hijinks like Chanel bags showing up to the house, losing football bets, stealing the plunger and more.
