A $1 million bond has been set on a Beaumont man charged with injury to a child causing serious body injury. The investigation against 29 year old Howard Walker began last week. Walker is accused of severely abusing his girlfriend’s one year old daughter causing burn marks, a swollen eye, and internal bleeding. The child was found unresponsive when she transported to the hospital.
