A woman has been found dead in an apartment in Baytown following an officer-involved shooting. The woman’s two children were also found in the apartment—thankfully, unharmed.
Police were originally responding to a family disturbance when they encountered the woman’s husband, armed with a knife. He ignored officers’ commands and was eventually shot and killed by the officers.
After searching the apartment, they discovered the woman’s body and the two children. According to the Baytown Police Department, no officers were injured during the incident.
The woman’s identity has not yet been released, and BPD says they will release more details as they become available.
