RaeLynn picked up Katelyn Brown for her first “carpool CHRISTMAS karaoke” installment on Tuesday (December 16).
RaeLynn accessorized her car with Christmas lights, ornaments and other festive decorations as she picked up Brown for Christmas karaoke. The former The Voice contestant shared that “Katelyn was one of my first friends in Nashville. We met, obviously, through Kane [Brown, Katelyn’s husband]… Even if we weren’t in the industry, we would be friends no matter what.” Brown also noted that they live just a few miles away, and the two of them raise their children together. RaeLynn and her husband, Josh Davis, are parents to daughter Daisy Rae, who turned 4 this year. Katelyn and Kane share daughters Kingsley Rose, 6, Kodi Jane, turning 4 later this month, and son Krewe Allen, who celebrated his first birthday in June.
Throughout the Christmas karaoke video, RaeLynn — who released her holiday EP, Jingle Jangle Rock, last month — sang with Brown and chatted about festive preferences and traditions with their familes. RaeLynn said “as you get older and you have kids, the magic of Christmas is watching it through your children’s eyes.” Brown agreed, and said, “I love giving them everything.” Watch the full video here:
