T.I. is ready to defend his legacy on the Verzuz stage against anyone who wants to step up to the mic.
On Monday, December 15, the Atlanta native sat down with The Breakfast Club to talk about his upcoming comedy special, Cheaper Than Therapy, his thoughts on the best southern rappers and more. During the discussion, Charlamagne Tha God mentioned that Tip needs his own Verzuz to remind the fans just how impactful his music is. T.I. agreed and said that he would take on any artist in a hit-for-hit battle.
“Can’t nobody f**k with me,” he said halfway through the interview.
“I’ll go in the booth with anybody, I’ll walk out with the better verse," he continued. "I go against anybody. I don’t give a damn who you got. Bring em on... Live performances. Hit for hit. There might be somebody people like better. That’s your opinion. But bottom line, can’t nobody f**k with me. Anybody who thinks that what I’m saying is some bulls**t, line me up.”
T.I. has yet to participate in a Verzuz match, but he can face an opponent now that the popular series made its comeback in October. Swizz Beatz and Timbaland brought back Verzuz during ComplexCon in Las Vegas. Numerous legends from Master P's No Limit Records and Cash Money Records — including Mia X, Silkk The Shocker, Birdman, Juvenile, and B.G. — faced one another by going hit-for-hit.
