A Baytown-area man has reportedly died after being stabbed during a fight on the campus of Ross S. Sterling high school in Baytown.
Baytown Police confirmed that they responded to a stabbing at the school, and the student was flown to a hospital via Life Flight.
Goose Creek ISD stated that Ross S. Sterling High School was placed on a temporary hold following a fight.
According to our TV partner, KPRC channel 2, the stabbing happened during a fight inside a classroom at Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown.
Two male students were involved, and one stabbed the other with a pair of scissors.
Sterling was placed on a temporary hold Wednesday following the fight, according to the district. The parents of both students were notified. The hold has since been lifted, and there is no current threat to students or staff on campus, the district said.
The district added that there is no further threat to students or staff.
