This traditionally styled holiday show takes a look at astronomy and holiday traditions. Explore the reasons humans are so fascinated with lighting up our lives during the December holiday season. Although it is the coldest and darkest of seasons, this time of year also holds some of the warmest and brightest celebrations of the year.
Planetarium tickets are in addition to general admission.

It’s winter in the woods. Join us for a Storytime reading of In the Snow: Who’s Been Here? by Lindsay Barrett George and follow the snow-covered trail with kids, William and Cammy. Clue after clue will reveal what animal has been there and left its trace behind.
Storytime programs are designed for ages 3 to 5. The program is included with general admission to the museum, but space is limited and served on a first come basis.
