National Maple Syrup Day: Put it on some spaghetti. Buddy the Elf would approve.
Ever wonder what Elf's breakfast spaghetti would taste like? Mashed challenged recipe developer Patterson Watkins to come up with the ingredients and directions for the unique combination, and it doesn’t look that bad ... at least for once a year.
Cook and drain your spaghetti.
Toss with maple syrup, then plate it.
Top with chocolate syrup.
Add, but don’t stir in, Pop-Tart pieces.
Sprinkle on miniature marshmallows, then M&Ms.
Finish with sprinkles.
For extra flair, top with a squeeze of Redi-Whip and a candy cane garnish.
