Nelly surprised fans at his Black and White Ball in St. Louis on December 14 by announcing that the St. Lunatics are officially reuniting for a new album, their first project together in 25 years, set to arrive in 2026.
Adding major excitement, Metro Boomin will serve as executive producer, bringing a modern sound to the iconic St. Louis group.
The announcement comes after years of tension within the group, including a royalty dispute between Nelly and member Ali that was recently resolved, clearing the path for the reunion.
The St. Lunatics last released music together in 2001 with their platinum album Free City, and while full lineup details haven’t been confirmed, the news has fans buzzing about a long-awaited comeback.
