This was a rumor-but it seems more solid now: when the police chief of Washington DC resigned last week, insiders said it was because she had been caught cooking the books and lying about Washington DC’s crime statistics.
And it-was-odd to see a person who was relatively new to the job- and a Black woman- resign so abruptly claiming burnout.
This chief’s name is Pamela Smith….and thanks to an investigation by the house committee on oversight-
Remember- it’s congress that ultimately controls the district of Columbia- and so James Comer and his staff investigated…
And what they found was a clear pattern of Chief Smith asking her subordinates to lie and change reports and such….to make it appear as if the department was lowering crime in dc. They weren’t.
And this is an important note: street crime in dc was so bad that the president decided to send in the National Guard to deal with it-and as he did- the dc mayor and chief smith, here- were both insisting that ...crime is down. Crime is down in dc. Why would he send in the guard now? Remember?
This was a major narrative on the left: but crime is down in dc. Why is trump pretending it’s not? It was -the left- that was pretending crime was down in DC.
So, these commanders of the seven patrol districts who were interviewed also confirmed that, yes, the president’s anti-crime surge worked. Regardless of what sort of politics each of these commanders has- and they’re probably liberals if they have risen to this level of command and control within that department-
But ‘whatever’ their politics, they admit to congress that trump’s anti-crime effort has worked.
You think that might be a more newsworthy story for the legacy media, too, wouldn’t you?
After all, this was ‘across the board’s lying and fraud by departmental commanders and chief smith. Quote.
But hey, Muriel Bowser isn’t running for another term as mayor and isn’t likely to be cooperative in any genuine way here. Just in case you wondered.
So, we move to Minnesota where federal immigration officers say they have already arrested 400 criminal illegal aliens …including pedophiles, rapists and violent offenders that they blame Tim Walz’s sanctuary policies for protecting.
The DC story. This story…in which we see all the efforts by today’s democrats to protect the thugs and criminals and illegals-instead of protecting their own communities…
Had me thinking about a column by Sasha Stone over the weekend. She, herself, is a reformed leftist who simply could not take the America-haters who are running today’s democrat party.
Stone made the point that- democrats can’t keep Americans safe. Period. I’d go further and say ‘they have no interest in doing so’....
You must wonder: are the bulk of the voters in this country really dumb enough to hand control back to these useless and clueless democrats?
If you believe the network polls and the accomplice media, yes. Voters are. I for one don’t believe the polls. The voters just lived thru the four-year nightmare of Biden. They are currently seeing things improve under trump. How many brain-damaged morons exist in this country that we would flip back to democrat control in 26 or 28? I guess we’ll find out.
