(Altoona, IA) -- Two Altoona men are sentenced to prison time for child sexual abuse in two separate cases.
29 year-old Edward Rodriguez was found guilty of multiple charges, including 2nd degree child sexual abuse and sentenced to 25 years in prison, with the requirement of serving 17 and a half years. In a separate case, 37 year-old Brandon Pinta was sentenced to 50 years in prison after being convicted of five counts of 3rd degree sexual abuse. In both cases, the victims were under 12 years old.
Both Rodriguez and Pinta will be supervised by the Department of Corrections for the rest of their lives and will be placed on the sex offender registry list.
