(Iowa) -- A new study ranks Iowa among the least stressed states in the nation.
Health insurance comparison service iSelect ranked all 50 states from most stressed to least looking at multiple categories including work, finances, relationships, lifestyle, and more. Iowa comes in near the bottom of the list at 44th, ranking in the bottom half in every stress category except one. Iowa's rankings in those categories include:
- Work stress: 12th
- Financial stress: 34th
- Education stress: 41st
- Mental health stress: 32nd
- Relationship stress: 37th
- Health-related financial stress: 30th
Nationally, finances are the leading cause of emotional stress for Americans at 50%. 29% of Americans say lifestyle pressures are a source of stress, and 27% say they're stressed about their health.
