Louisiana's two federal lawsuits against CVS Health Corporation and its subsidiary Caremark PCS Health LLC are now settled.
The state had sued over claims that the companies engaged in unfair business practices that drove up prescription drug costs and harmed independent pharmacies.
Louisiana accused Caremark of under-reimbursing independent pharmacies while steering patients to CVS-owned facilities.
The state also claimed the company would keep the difference between what it charged health insurers and what it paid pharmacies.
A federal judge signed dismissal orders last week for both cases.
