Pop star Fergie has shared a rare public reunion with her former The Black Eyed Peas bandmates, marking their first time together in years. The moment comes nearly eight years after she stepped away from the group.

In photos posted to Instagram on December 13, Fergie appeared alongside will.i.amTaboo, and apl.de.ap as they gathered to celebrate milestone birthdays. Fergie described the night as meaningful and full of love, calling the group her “brothers.”

The images, which showed the artists dressed in coordinated, fashion-forward outfits, quickly drew attention from longtime fans who haven’t seen the quartet together publicly in years.

Fergie, born Stacy Ann Ferguson, formally exited the Black Eyed Peas in 2018 to focus on solo work and raising her son. Since then, the group has continued releasing music and touring as a trio, maintaining that the separation was friendly.

The birthday gathering follows another notable appearance from Fergie earlier this fall. In October, she surprised fans by joining Ludacris onstage during his set at ONE Musicfest in Atlanta, where the two performed their 2006 hit “Glamorous.” Ludacris later told the crowd — and echoed online — that Fergie hadn’t performed live in several years.

While the Black Eyed Peas reunion was personal rather than professional, it carried significance given the group’s cultural impact. With Fergie as a central member, the band dominated charts throughout the 2000s and early 2010s with albums like Elephunk and The E.N.D., producing global hits such as “Where Is the Love?,” “Boom Boom Pow,” and “I Gotta Feeling.”
