Dial-A-Carol returns for another holiday season beginning December 11! This beloved, student-run tradition at the University of Illinois is hosted each year by the residents of Snyder Hall and has been spreading holiday cheer since 1960.
It all started when office secretary Betty Gordon and Snyder Hall residents decided to share the joy of the season—one song at a time. Today, that tradition lives on with students answering calls and singing holiday tunes to anyone, anywhere.
Dial-A-Carol runs 24 hours a day for seven days, and in a typical year receives more than 10,000 calls from all 50 states and over 70 countries.
