The New Orleans City Council is reportedly expected to have enough votes to override Mayor LaToya Cantrell's veto of the city budget.
The lame-duck mayor says amendments to the spending plan rely on revenue from what she calls "uncertain, unverified," or "one-time sources."
Cantrell says she's still committed to working with the City Council and Mayor-elect Helena Moreno to come up with a budget.
The one she vetoed had been approved by the City Council.
