There are reports that the bodies of two people have been found at the Los Angeles area home of actor/director/writer Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle, and the ages of those killed match those of the Reiner couple.
CBS News and the New York Post quote Los Angeles area officials such as the LA Fire Department that they were called to the Reiner home Sunday with a report of a medical emergency, and there they found the bodies of a man age 78 and a woman age 68, which are the ages of Mr. and Mrs. Reiner.
The Los Angeles Robbery and Homicide police division was also called to the home, and the New York Post reported that a knife was found on the premises that was thought to have been used as a murder weapon.
Rob Reiner is a well-known movie director and television actor best remembered for directing "When Harry Met Sally..." and "The Princess Bride" as well as "Spinal Tap," and for portraying Michael Stivic, the liberal son on the extremely popular 1970s TV series "All In the Family."
Reiner is the son of legendary movie and TV director Carl Reiner.
There has been no independent confirmation of these reports yet.
