Packers won the coin toss and deferred to the second half.
Broncos offense started their first drive of the day from their 31 yard line. RJ Harvey gained 9 yards on the first two carries and Bo Nix with a QB sneak gave the Broncos their first 1st down of the game. Denver facing another 3rd and 1, handed it off to Harvey but he fumbled it at midfield and the Packers recovered it at their own 48 yard line.
Packers offense moved into Denver territory. Facing a 4th and 1, Jordan Love play faked and JUST made the line to gain on a roll out to the right side. Facing a 3rd and 1 a couple plays later, Talanoa Huganga flew in and blew up a Jacobs handoff for a TFL forcing a field goal attempt. Brandon McManus hit a 53 yarder and the Packers got an early 3-0 lead with 7:02 remaining in the 1st quarter.
The Broncos started their next drive at their own 40 yard line but unfortunately went 3 and out. After the punt and and an unnecessary roughness penalty, the Packers started deep inside their own territory at their own 6 yard line with 4:56 remaining in the 1st quarter.
Jordan Love hit Luke Musgrave for a 26 yard gain and then another 26 yard completion to Romeo Doubs as Green Bay was quickly to midfield. Love hit Matthew Golden over the middle for an 18 yard gain and the Packers were quickly in the Red Zone as the 1st quarter wound down. Facing a 3rd and 6 from the Denver 8 yard line, Riley Moss broke up a pass intended for Doubs and it fell incomplete. McManus converted a 26 yard field goal and the Packers extended their lead 6-0 with 14:11 remaining in the 2nd quarter.
Broncos offense went back to work from their own 30 yard line. An unnecessary roughness penalty against the Packers gave the Broncos their 1st first down of the drive at the Denver 44 yard line. Facing a 3rd and 5 from their own 49 yard line, Bo Nix hit Sutton for a 6 yard gain and a 1st down. The Broncos got a big first down on 3rd and 7 with a completion to Lil'Jordan Humphrey for 15 yards. On 3rd and 3 from the 20 yard line, Bo Nix found a wide open Michael Bandy along the right sideline for a Broncos touchdown! Broncos take the lead 7-6 with 8:19 remaining in the 2nd quarter.
Facing a 3rd and 3, Jordan Love found a wide open Jayden Reed down the left sideline for a 29 yard gain and Green Bay was quickly into Denver territory. Love and the Green Bay offense worked all the way down to the Denver 9 yard line with a goal to go opportunity. An illegal shift penalty nullified a Jacobs touchdown. Broncos had the opportunity to accept a holding penalty that would've backed the Packers up to 2nd and goal from the 24 but they declined it...and they were burned. Love found Jacobs down the right sideline on a wheel route and the Packers retook the lead 13-7.
The Broncos offense went back to work and were quickly into Green Bay territory with a 42 yard completion down the left sideline to Courtland Sutton. It looked like Troy Franklin should've had a touchdown but the refs blew a whistle even though he wasn't down on the next play. Didn't matter, a couple plays later, Nix hit Lil'Jordan Humphrey in the front left of the end zone for a 5 yard touchdown. Broncos went back in front 14-13 with 1:56 remaining in the 1st half.
Jordan Love aggressively went down the field with the ball and eventually worked Green Bay into the Red Zone with 10 seconds remaining. Packers would settle for a 35 yard field goal and would head into halftime up 16-14.
Packers started with the ball out of halftime at their own 29 yard line. Facing a 3rd and 4, Jordan Love targeted Riley Moss down the left sideline and the refs rewarded the Packers with a super soft defensive pass interference. On the next play, Josh Jacobs took a handoff to the house for a 40 yard touchdown. Packers extend their lead 23-14.
Broncos offense went quickly 3 and out on the next drive, punting it back to Green Bay, who would start their drive from their own 19 yard line. On the first play, Love targeted Christian Watson deep down the middle of the field and Pat Surtain came up with a HUGE interception.
Broncos offense started their next drive from their own 28 yard line. Broncos were quickly into Green Bay territory as Nix hit Humphrey for a 22 yard gain down the left sideline after scrambling around the pocket. Nix found Franklin for a first down and then Mims for another 1st down as the Broncos worked down to the 14 yard line. Nix threw the fade to Sutton down the right sideline for a touchdown to pull the Broncos within 2, 23-21 with 9:07 remaining in the 3rd quarter.
Packers were facing a 3rd and 13 on the next drive and somehow Love escaped with a 24 yard run into Denver territory. A couple plays later, Broncos were able to get home on the first sack of the game on Love with Jonah Ellis and force the first punt of the game from Green Bay. Broncos took over at their 30.
Evan Engram had an awesome one handed catch for 13 yards to set up a 4th and 1. Nix converted the 1st down on a QB sneak. Two plays later, Nix found Franklin on the left side for a 16 yard reception. RJ Harvey banged ahead for another 1st down down to the 29 yard line. Marvin Mims broke about 4 tackles to get the ball down to the Green Bay 18 yard line. Micah Parsons was injured on a non-contact injury to his left knee. Bo Nix hit Troy Franklin over the middle for a 23 yard touchdown and the Broncos bounced back in front 27-23! Broncos went for two but were unsuccessful.
On the next drive, Love hit Golden down the right sideline for a huge 27 yard reception to get the ball into the Red Zone. Green Bay's drive stalled and McManus converted a 37 yard field goal to pull within 1, 27-26 with 10:55 remaining in the game.
Broncos started their next drive from their own 35 yard line. Sutton had a 16 yard reception to get the Broncos into Green Bay territory and then Franklin with a 10 yard reception. On 4th and 3, Nix hit Sutton for a 26 yard reception to get the Broncos into the Red Zone. On 3rd and 3, the Packers were called for offsides and the Broncos continued their drive to the Green Bay 4 yard line. RJ Harvey would punch it in and give the Broncos an 8 point lead, 34-26 with 7:27 remaining in the game.
On the next drive, Riley Moss came up with the tip interception and the Broncos offense went back onto the field at midfield. Broncos offense worked into GB territory at the 45 yard line facing a 4th and 3. The pass fell incomplete, Packers take over with about 5 mins remaining.
Golden helped convert an 11 yard reception into Denver territory on 3rd and 9. Dondrea Tillman came up with a huge sack and then on 4th and 10, Cooper and Allen got home for a sack to turn the ball over on downs at the Green Bay 46 yard line. Broncos unable to get a 1st down and gave it back to the Packers at their 38 yard line with 1:07 remaining in the game. Didn't matter, Jordan Love's 4th down pass fell incomplete and the Broncos won 34-26!
