A gunman is on the loose after killing two and wounding eight at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
At this point, police only say they are looking for a male dressed in black who fled the campus on foot after the shooting.
Officials say most of the eight people wounded are in critical, but stable condition.
Providence Mayor Brett Smiley said the campus remains on lockdown.
Even though it is Saturday, today is the second day of Fall Exams at Brown.
The Mayor says that anyone with information on the gunman is asked to call Providence Police.
The Mayor also says that the doors to the building where the shooting happened were unlocked.
All the victims are Brown University students.
The shooting took place in the Engineering and Physics building.
